These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Sparwild Safaris website and services. By making a booking or using our website, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional information provided in your booking confirmation or official communications.

1. About Sparwild Safaris

Sparwild Safaris specializes in organizing tailor‑made safaris, wildlife tours, beach holidays, and cultural travel experiences across Africa, including Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, and other destinations.

We work with licensed local operators, guides, and accommodation providers. Sparwild Safaris acts as a tour arranger and coordinator, ensuring services are delivered by trusted partners.

2. Bookings and Payments

• A deposit (typically 30–50%) is required to confirm a booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid as specified in your booking confirmation, usually before or at the start of the safari.
• Accepted payment methods may include bank transfer, credit card, and mobile payment options such as M‑Pesa.
• A booking is considered confirmed only after payment has been received and acknowledged.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation charges are based on the date written notice is received:

• 60 days or more before travel: Refund minus applicable administrative fees
• 30–59 days before travel: 50% refund
• Less than 30 days before travel: No refund

No‑shows or missed departures are non‑refundable. Refunds are processed using the original payment method and currency where possible.

In exceptional circumstances such as illness, flight disruptions, or other unavoidable events, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your trip or offer a travel credit, subject to supplier policies.

4. Changes to Itineraries

We reserve the right to modify itineraries, accommodations, routes, or activities due to weather conditions, park regulations, availability, or safety considerations.

Where changes are necessary, suitable alternatives of comparable value will be provided whenever possible.

5. Responsibilities

Our responsibility:
We coordinate and arrange travel services with care and work only with partners who meet required safety and service standards.

Your responsibility:
You are responsible for ensuring you have valid travel documents (passports, visas), required vaccinations, and adequate travel insurance. You agree to follow park regulations and your guide’s instructions throughout the safari.

6. Travel Insurance

Comprehensive personal travel insurance is mandatory for all travelers. Coverage should include medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, and loss of personal belongings.

7. Wildlife and Outdoor Risks

Safaris take place in natural and sometimes remote environments. While all reasonable precautions are taken, travel in wildlife areas carries inherent risks.

By booking with Sparwild Safaris, you acknowledge these risks and agree that Sparwild Safaris and its partners are not liable for incidents beyond reasonable control.

8. Conduct and Reviews

We encourage respectful behavior between travelers, guides, staff, and local communities. Disruptive, abusive, or unlawful conduct may result in removal from a tour without refund.

Genuine feedback and reviews are welcome; misleading or defamatory content may be addressed or removed where appropriate.

9. Force Majeure

Sparwild Safaris is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events beyond our control, including natural disasters, political instability, pandemics, strikes, or airline disruptions.
