The term “Big Five” refers to five of Africa’s most famous and sought-after animals — lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and buffalo. Originally, the phrase was coined by early hunters to describe the most difficult animals to hunt on foot. Today, these incredible creatures represent the ultimate wildlife safari experience and the heart of Africa’s conservation story.
