Against a lot of those decks Sphere Mode is fine, Desires is fine, or Tactics is fine, and will generally be higher impact than any hand trap.

It's even problematic in non-Standard-legal sets because storm is such a powerful ability, and as silly as making Storm Crows sounds, it's a viable win condition
