The closest we got before was in a different MTG color, and easier to play, though (we think) less fun: the 6-cost Red sword Embercleave, from 2019's Throne of Eldraine set

As you might imagine, the date was not successful (nor was Operation Sance a story for another time)

Its not super novel or exciting, but games do need to end sometime, and Hoof definitely does that

If a card doesnt specifically state that it can kill planeswalkers, then it cant outside of doing enough damage to remove all of a planeswalkers loyalty counters, like any normal creature

Although Rakdos has now got some juicy cream at the top of its pile it has a sharp fall off in quality for the cube after about 7 cards and made the list really tricky

If that creature has infect, Burn the Impure deals 3 damage to that creatures controller
