While it's encouraging to see that the Swords cycle isn't immune to reprints or Secret Lair inclusions, it feels like we've lost some of the card's original charm in the process
The kicker cost is nice because it allows Chocobo Kick to take down a much larger range of possible targets, but it also guarantees you a land drop to trigger landfall
When creatures die, you create Devil tokens that deal damage on their way out too
Despite not being a financial powerhouse, thanks to having a range of reprints, Maskwood Nexus is still a good card
At the beginning of our end step, if an opponent has three or more poison counters, we can draw a card and then put a landany landonto the battlefield (which doesnt have to be the one we drew)
Paying five mana for a 3/3 and hopefully a little something else for your trouble is reasonable, and it gets much better quickly
