In some ways, the release of War of the Spark and its impact on Modern are a good reminder of why people love Modern so much: you can play just about anythingfrom Niv-Mizzet Reborn to Spark Doubleand, with some practice, tight play, and matchup luck, end up with a winning deck
It has a low casting cost, and since many infect creatures are cheap to cast, it's likely you were able to get a few infect counters on your opponents, allowing for Yawgmoth to begin using its proliferate ability to add on more to them
That might mean a deck with lots of black and blue spells, if those are the ones you happen to find in anime versions, or a green token strategy if there are enough anime-inspired cards in that color
If it shows good results in Modern, especially in Sultai Control decks, then this will further drive up the price
Dont feel pressured to buy a box at these prices
